The Human Services Department's focus has been on the health and welfare of Windham's residents through programs providing a variety of services aimed at meeting the human service needs of Windham residents in order to promote a maximum quality of life.

• Advocacy for residents
• Information and referrals services with community agencies
• Assistance with completion of state and federal paperwork
• Uniform Relocation Assistance Act
• CHOICES counseling for medical insurance
• Renter's Rebate Program
• Notary Public services 
  • $2.00 per document.
• Elderly, & Disabled Medical Transportation Grant
• School Readiness and Child Day Care Gran Program:
  • Full-day, full-year, part-day, school-year programs available for 3 to 5-year-old children
    
• Housing Rehab Program
• ECAN (Eastern Coordinated Access Network)
• Ambulance fee waivers and reductions are consistent with the Town ordinance.
